That was exactly the way in which we approached the restoration and furnishing of Elisabeth’s Apartment. Since the very first moment, we could see you... our Sir Winston Churchill. We pictured you as a history lover who is coming to visit Košice accompanied with their family or a couple on a journey of their dreams... In consideration of the time, we live in, it is naturally asked of you to be careful in a new environment and to fully respect sanitary and privacy requirements. Simply put, this will become your second home, here in Košice...
Elisabeth’s Apartment is ready to accommodate 6 people. The only exception is the dearest seventh guest for whom a baby bed is big enough. And we will be more than happy to prepare it for them. On the first floor (the second above-ground storey), there is an air-conditioned master bedroom with a 200x200 cm master bed where a baby bed can be placed. The room is equipped with a latest smart TV. There is also a children’s room with two single beds there. Moreover, there is a bathroom with a toilette and a shower unit with a heated ceramic-tiled wall on this floor. To be able to vent the apartment through the windows that can be fully opened is a matter of course. These rooms are entered through a conservatory overlooking the roofs of historic buildings and the cathedral tower.
For well-organised couples there is a room with original roof timbers and a 200x200 cm master bed in the loft. The bed is placed under a roof window overlooking Saint Elisabeth’s Cathedral. The loft room windows can be blinded using a remote control. There is a free-standing traditional Villeroy&Boch bathtub and a washbasin there too. A toilet with a bidet shower is discreetly separated. One is to use a stylish wooden staircase to get to the loft. The loft is equipped with a smart TV, WiFi connection and an air-conditioning unit. Quality natural beauty products and a high sanitary level is a matter of course.
Elisabeth’s Apartment can be entered on the first above-ground storey where one is led directly to its day zone. The living room for guests is equipped with a flat smart TV, sound bar, WiFi connection and a wardrobe. You can also get to the wine cellar from there. To have our kitchen equipped with a range cooker, quality coffee machine, coffee beans included, and a complete set of pans and dishes is a matter of course. There are always fresh organic foodstuffs ready for you in the fridge; these are, for example, farm eggs, ham or butter and the best Slovak yoghurt. Different types of tea, honey, muesli, or fresh fruit from a market nearby are also at your disposal. Olive oil, pasta, spices, sauces... All that just in case that you might be hungry all of the sudden...
Our private wine cellar is worth a separate introduction when handing Elisabeth’s Apartment over to you. Surely you will be pleasantly surprised by wine and cheese selection at your disposal included in the price of your accommodation. Everything in Elisabeth’s Apartment has been of the highest quality... Hypo-allergenic bedding filled with goose feather from Hungarian farms, antique china, crystal, or furniture...
